The mission of Babies and Beads is to provide work readiness skills including social skills, customer service skills, cash handling skills, entrepreneur skills, etc.. for individuals with disabilities while providing an opportunity to give back to adolescent parents and their children. Students make jewelry, greeting cards, and hair bows and then sell the items at fundraisers including conferences, Farmer's markets, and other craft fairs. With the grant graciously provided by CSA, Babies and Beads will be able to continue to develop and expand in the upcoming 2017-18 school year by allowing us to purchase new jewelry making materials. This will include beads, toggle clasps, wire, and other tools needed to continue making our jewelry. It will also allow us to create marketing and promotional materials to help spread the word and grow our program. Thank you CSA! Babies and Beads are forever grateful for your support!
