These curricular resources are intended for Special Education teachers to supplement the Board-approved Rights, Respect, Responsibility (3Rs) sexual health curriculum. All sexual health curricula may only be implemented by staff who have attended SDUSD's Sexual Health Curriculum Professional Development, in accordance with district policy and CA Education Code. Parents/guardians must be notified of the instruction, have a chance to preview the materials, and have the right to excuse their child from the instruction (see SDUSD Bulletin No. 86 and Parent Preview Resources).
