During the ASB trainings in September, we received an inquiry regarding the retention of student body tickets. Per the attached AP 2260, we confirmed with the internal audit team that the following is acceptable:
- Retain current year tickets and the prior two years (aligns with the financial records)
- For tickets outside this date range, please inventory the tickets and have the ESA/financial clerk along with the principal or athletic director sign the inventory sheet. Tickets can then be destroyed; however, keep the inventory log for audit purposes.
