LCFF Data Collection
San Diego Unified requires all school sites to collect Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) forms for students for the 2024-25 school year. LCFF data collection also affects Title I Eligibility/Ranking, and the higher the collection rate, the more funding the district as a whole and individual school sites may receive. The collection process is currently open and will run through October 31, 2024 for LCFF purposes; however, it's advantageous to collect information as soon as possible.
We encourage sites to prioritize use of the more efficient electronic processes: Parent Portal or SurveyMonkey. Parents can visit the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the electronic LCFF Form or respond to an email from SurveyMonkey. For Parent Portal, sites are responsible for providing parents with Access IDs and Passwords so they can create PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts. The benefits of using the Parent Portal extend beyond LCFF. Paper forms, now printed, collected, and retained at sites, may also be used at site discretion.
For Parents: Your child’s school needs this information to help ensure it receives all the state funding to which it is entitled. It will not affect your child receiving free meals at school as all children will have free access to meals this school year.

If you do not have the Access ID and Password for your student, please contact the school to make the request. You will need an Access ID and Password for each student you wish to link to your account.
