Spring into wellness at the second annual Staff Spring Wellness Festival - Wednesday, April 12, 2-6 p.m. at the Ed Center front lawn. All San Diego Unified employees are encouraged to take some time to enjoy the event, as their schedule allows.
*Please work with your supervisor or manager to ensure proper schedule arrangements are made should you decide to attend during work hours.*
The Spring Wellness Festival is part of the district’s commitment to prioritize staff wellbeing and foster a sense of community.
Check in on your health, relax your mind, connect with colleagues, have fun, and win big! This year’s event features:
- Cooking demos & healthy meal tasters
- E-bike rides & a smoothie blender bike
- Mobile health clinic screenings
- Calming activities & pet therapy
- Financial wellness mini workshops
- Food trucks, local vendors & resource fair
- Opportunity drawings
- New this year will be a live music band, led by retired former district employee Herschel Johnson, performing a variety of Funk-Soul-Blues-Rock-Jazz from 4-6 p.m.
Parking & Registration:
- Parking at the Ed Center is limited and available on a first come, first served basis
- Parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood
- Upon arrival, please check in at the welcome table for program, food tickets, and opportunity drawing tickets District ID number required at check in
