NSEO Update: Action Required: TK AND K Age Requirements
Please verify birthdates for all students being offered a seat at your site. We have been made aware that the system may have allowed Choice applications with non-eligible birthdates to apply. Pupils entering TK and K must meet the minimum age requirements. The district enrolls students per CA Ed Code age guidelines as follows:
-Student turning 5 between September 2 - December 2, 2020 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten.
-Student turning 5 before September 2, 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten.
-Student turning 6 before September 1, 2020 are eligible for 1st grade.
-Students turning 5 after December 2, 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten the following year.

NSEO Update: SDUSD Enrollment Options (2020-21) is now functioning
The Download Seated List Report function of SDUSD Enrollment Options (2020-21) is now functioning properly. Sites may download the spreadsheets for ease of contacting families and recording results. Thank you.
NSEO Update: SDUSD Enrollment Options Choice Seated List (2020-21)
It has been reported by some sites that the Download Seated List Report in SDUSD Enrollment Options (2020-21) is blank. PowerSchool has been alerted and is working on a fix. For the interim, affected site staff will need to access the individual Seated Lists by grade level, and select the Quick View icon (magnifying glass) to view the contact information for each pupil. You may find it useful to create your own Excel spreadsheet until the issue can be resolved by PowerSchool. We anticipate a quick resolution and apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.
NSEO Update: Choice Lottery
The School Choice Lottery was successfully processed in mid February and site seated lists were released last Friday, February 21, 2020. Administrative Circular #207 School Choice Student Enrollment 2020-21 (Magnet, Voluntary Enrollment Exchange Program [VEEP], and Open Enrollment Placement Lists) was posted on February 24, 2020, and contains important information for processing of Choice enrollment. Parent email notifications will be transmitted on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
NSEO Update: Pre K Enrollment is under NSEO's Umbrella
Early Childhood Education/Pre K enrollment is now part of the services offered to families at the Family Welcome and Enrollment Center. For 2019-20 enrollment, beginning the week of October 14, 2019, appointments are not available, and it is a first come first served daily process. This year's process will be managed by SchoolMint, an online system. Parents will be required to bring all necessary documentation.
