3/26: Meal Distribution Volunteer Information (For non-Food Service Employees)

We need volunteers to help continue handing out meals at our Food Distribution Sites and ensuring thousands of children are able to access food while our schools are closed. Meal Distribution is an ESSENTIAL SERVICE, and this service is exempt from the "Shelter in Place" or "Stay at Home" order. Our students need these meals and we will continue to provide them.

We are in need of eight volunteers (adults only) at each of our 13 open sites daily, for three hours from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are expected to stay for the entire shift. We are hoping you can share with your staff, there are many sites that do not have enough volunteers to successfully feed our students. We are limiting volunteers to district employees and partner organizations at this time. If an employee wishes to bring an adult with them to assist, they can submit that information when they sign up.
